Social media is full of reaction to the annual Spotify Wrapped report showing users' listening habits through the year – and brands and organisations have been quick off the mark with their own modified versions. Check out this Shooglebox of examples.
Ryanair is leading the way with three million views and 300,000 likes on a TikTok which starts with them joking about how many couples they've separated because they didn't pay to sit next to each other.
Top comments on Ryanair's post include "I absolutely adore the PR team behind this, y'all deserve a promotion" and "Why is this better than Spotify Wrapped?".
There's lots of discussion about the quality of Spotify Wrapped this year with many people saying they find it "underwhelming" and "boring" and taking an issue with Spotify leaning too much on AI.
People are also amused by the wacky genres in the Music Evolution report which include things like "pink pilates princess pop".
Specsavers played on the Music Evolution part of the report to show what they were getting up to in different months, like their obsession with Formula One racing driver Lando Norris in February and queueing for tickets for the Oasis reunion in August.
Domino's joked about spending 27,436 hours "cooking Man City" who they're often making fun of on social media.
Gymshark did a gym version about someone who's consumed 158,224mg of caffeine in 2024 and spent 967 hours in the gym.
easyJet's version includes topical songs such as All Aboard The Orange Plane by Scooch, Air Hostess by Busted and I'm Like A Bird by Nelly Furtado. Meanwhile Jet2 joked about Jess Glynne being their top artist as they continue to use Hold My Hand in their advertising and in-flight announcements.
Dreamies have tweaked the names of popstars and their songs to imagine what cats have been listening to this year, like Everything is Purrmantic by "Purrli XCX" and Treatspresso by "Furbrina Carpenter".
And even the Labour Party have made a version featuring pledges like more NHS appointments, planning reforms and new workers' rights.
